The Department of Health and Human Services has launched a Web site, http://www.HealthCare.gov, to help people learn about the public and private health care options available under the Affordable Care Act. Individuals and small businesses will be able to compare both public and private sector options on this Web site, which includes a database of more than a thousand private insurance plans and comprehensive information on public plans such as Medicare and the new Pre-existing Conditions Insurance Plan.
